Faviscan is a diagnostic tool that checks which of a website’s declared and conventional site icons resolve successfully. It accepts a URL submitted by a visitor and returns a report of what icons the page declares and what each icon’s HTTP request returned.

The service is provided “as is” without any warranty, express or implied. There is no guarantee of availability, correctness, or completeness of results. The operator is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from use of or inability to use the service.

4. Intellectual property

The Faviscan name, logo, and interface design are the property of the operator. The output of the service (a scan report) is factual and not subject to copyright. You are free to use scan results for any lawful purpose.

The scanner runs on a serverless platform (Cloudflare Workers) with the following limitations that affect results:

These terms may be updated without notice. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates the most recent revision.

7. Governing law

No governing law is designated until a legal entity and jurisdiction are established. This section will be updated when that information is available.
